SPEAKERS DO NOT WORK WITH THE IPOD TOUCH 4G
Although I love the new Ipod 4th Generation I have to warn that if you plan to use it with an Ipod Speaker System such as Bose or Sony that worked well even with the Iphone 4G, this new Ipod will not connect. I have read many reviews on the Forums, and the general opinion is that there is a flap inside the connector on the new Ipod which prevents a connection with any of the recognised speakers. Some have been able to fiddle with it and finally connect, but the risk of damage by doing this is strong, so not advised. This was a great upset to me as I use it primarily for that purpose. Not good news Apple.

iPod Touch 4thGen - Interestingly new
I ran out to every Apple vendor I could find so I could get one - knowing the great demand which would accrue very quickly. And low and behold - if you're still reading this - you should be putting it on order now. Read the reviews later!

I was very pleased when I first opened it and switched it on - it works - and it works well! The retina display is VERY noticeable and I couldn't ask for anything more. I was disappointed by the camera Megapixel resolution - but it could've been a lot worse..! The snaps it takes are great for sharing a few on Facebook or to your mates.
- The Video camera however is VERY good - the HD really pops out of the screen - and I have no longer the need to ponder on a Flip HD camera - as this one does fine. If you tap the screen, iPod'll adjust the exposure - to make sure you can see your subject in the right light.
- Game Center? Meh.
- A boost which Apple didn't mention was the new 802.11 N wireless chip - which now makes it faster connecting to the App Store and downloading!
- Facetime works well - the quality is clear and you can hear the subject perfectly - however don't expect it to be great without a reasonable internet connection.

Brillant crimpers! Do a really good job! Crimped my hair on Friday and Saturday for my dance show and my hair looked great. I also crimped it on Sunday for a Cheerleading Festival! My hair loooked amazing!
